What is DigiLocker ?
DigiLocker is your personal storage space for documents & certificates provided by govt of india. You get documents directly from registered issuers, or upload your own . 1 GB space is provided for free .
Digital locker is a very best and latest solution to store your all document on internet and get it back from anywhere and anytime .You can share these documents to anyone .
For example CBSE is an registered issuer of digilocker and you are a student of CBSE school in india . When CBSE issue a certificate or marksheet to you ,it will be displayed in your digilocker account automatically.
User can upload the all of your documents on internet for future use .
How To Get Digilocker
To use you digilocker you have to create a account to get it. To Get it click on following link
After create your digital locker you can use it.
How To Use It And Upload Documents
- After create your digital locker account , login it . Go to dashboard as shown in following image .And then click on Uploaded documents to upload new document in it.
- Click on Upload documents tab is left side menu And then click on “upload” button .Select the file from your desktop or mobile phone to upload . Your file must be below 10 MB . Large then 10 MB file can’t be loaded .After upload the document, select the category of document from the drop down list . For example: you want to upload addhar card . Then after upload addhar card file click on “select doc type” tab . From the dropdown list select the document type as in following image .
- User can E sign (digital signature)these document to use in future and send theto any concerned department .
- You can also share your documents with your family and friends via facebook or google .
